Sorry this question is kind of vague but I am going to use a PFC in my 88 TII. I am running the main fuel pump right off the battery to a switch. The factory relay and resistor are gone.

Question is does the PFC need input from the pump or need to monitor it in any way in order to do its intended task.

Thanks for your input.(plaese spare the unsafe "hot" fuel pump comments)
