From TechEdge:
"The NB output is designed to be compatible with the raw output of a Bosch LSM-11 sensor."

How does this narrowband output compare to the output of our stock O2 sensor? Could the NB output be used in place of the stock O2 sensor (at the bottom of the downpipe)?

A word of advice to anyone looking at the AEM wideband, do not buy this if you plan to use datalogit with it. There are three or four of us on the datalogit forums with exactly the same problem, a noisy signal.. apparently the AEM unit outputs a digital signal (or is it analog?) that has to be converted within the software and it doesn't work. All my A/F graphed logs are choppy and useless.. picked up a Techedge unit now myself.

Yep, just to second what mjw was saying... I know of several people with the same noise issues with the PFC/datalogit/AEM combination which renders it useless, and I even know of someone else who drives a Miata with a complete different datalogging combination who bought the gauge type and is experiencing nearly the same problems. If I could go back in time I would have never bought the POS AEM....

By the way, mjw, does the techedge use the same bung that we welded into our pipes? Sure hope that's a standard size and threads......

PLX M-300 with either:
(1) the power ground wire also connected to the DATALOGIT input cable chassis ground or

(2) the power ground going to AN2 and use the delta function.

Then for either. run a poly of a = 0, b = 2, and c = 9.9.

I sure hope so, I recently moved so the car has just been sitting in the garage until I can get around to organizing everything in there and installing the Techedge.

Well if you get a chance, let me know how it goes. I think I'm going to just ditch my AEM and go Techedge myself. Good luck!

Just an update, more than a month later I finally took my midpipe off. The techedge setup I have (1.1 display, not sure which sensor it is yet) has an O2 sensor with the same thread size/pitch as the AEM one, so the bung you have welded in should work.

Thanks for the update. I actually went ahead and bought an Innovate LM-1, and it also uses the same bung. For the record, the LM-1 is REALLY impressive. All the details for it are here...

Tailhappy,
What sort of interface is necessary to connect the LM-1 to the datalogit? I'm looking at Innovative's page now and trying to figure out what I'll need to purchase in addition to the basic kit for it to connect to the AN-1/2 inputs on the datalogit. Any idea?
Thanks!

rx7tt95, think you got your answer on the datalogit site, but just in case anyone else here was wondering, you only need the basic LM-1 kit. It comes with an output cable, that is just a headphone jack on one side, with 3 wires coming out the other end. Strip the proper wire and screw it into the datalogit AN1 and you're ready to log.

If anybody's interested in the Zeitronix ZT-2 wideband for use with the Datalogit, I did a little write-up at this thread:

I have the LM-1 hooked up to the Datalogit. It seems to datalog slightly off .2-.5 under 12.5. Can you tell me what values you used in LM-1 and also in the Datalogit?

I have the PFC, Datalogit, TechEdge 1.5 with Boost and TPS fed into the aux inputs of the techedge, techedge feeds the 0-5 signal to the datalogit and 0-1 volt signal to the PFC. and custom Air/Fuel Display

If you interested here is 1/4mile run that I datalogged....
https://www.rx7club.com/power-fc-forum-47/power-fc-datalogit-excel-sheet-12sec-1-4-pass-390029/

Link below...Inside of my car with my custom display that reads the serial output from the techedge and every 500RPM I record Boost, Airfuel and time in Millisec and TPS...I just wanted a way to be able to do quick run and see what my #'s where. Also I can just display the Air Fuel in big #'s but like any gauge...who has time to look at it.

about Middle of the page....
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...8&page=3&pp=15

Everything works great...but my laptop died a couple of days ago...lol
