Datalogit, LM-1 Configuration

I have LM-1 output to Datalogit. I have set the datalogit setting to match the lm-1 but when I datalog runs, it seems to be slightly off by .2-.5 anything under 12.5 What are your settings?

I personally just used in both places:
0V = 10:1
5V = 20:1

Though those numbers were completely arbitrary. I have noticed mine appears to log a couple tenths leaner due to grounding problems I presume. However, I figure that's close enough for me for now and gives me a little bit of a safety factor. If you really wanted to spend the time with it, you could tweak your poly in the Datalogit to get it perfect. Or you could make analog 2 = 0V all the time and do the delta feature in the datalogit to subtract out the ground problems.

thx for the info
I used 4.9 for 20:1 and that seemed to get it closer but not perfect. Do you know poly values that I could use to start from?

I wouldn't think you to need to use poly values. Since the output of the LM1 can be linear, I would expect translating the line to be sufficient. I'd just try setting 0V = 9.9 and 5V = 19.9 and keep backing down (or going up) until it looks right to you.

I think im just being ****. its just off by a hair. Which should just give me more safety margin.

Oh i totally understand. No reason to be logging incorrect numbers!

Common rule of thumb is for WOT to be between 11:1 and 11.5:1. You're starting to get in the danger zone above 12:1.
