When I get my PFC, I'm planning on sending it to XS, but my question is this. Vendors like SR motorsports claim that they are custom tuning them too. By that do they actually mean messed around with the Commander? I heard that XS is the only shop with the necessary software to proberly tune the base maps?

Also, if I had them tune it for certain mods, then I changed a couple minor things, I would still be OK, correct?

Now it is not only XS that can tune the base maps, anyone with a datalogit can do this as well.
As far as SR goes, and their abilities, you don't need to alter the base fuel maps to get a good tune, so as long as they know what they are doing, you should be fine with them. The nice thing about XS is they can also lower the fan temps for you... which of corse anyone with a datalogit can also do now...
