Need a little more info... You were tuning the car. Through the Commander or did you have a Datalogit hooked up? Also, could you walk us through the what you or Zavier did before it reset; step by step.

We were tuning with the datalogit. We made a couple of pulls the car was very rich. So we was taking out about 5% of fuel out made another pull still to rich. Then the lab top started to freeze up re booted it. Then it was all good started to make more adjustments then all of a sudden the car quit running. The map had reset to a base map.

I've had my map reset before when my laptop locked up while in the middle of updating the PowerFC and it reset itself. Also, when you rebooted and started up again, are you sure you didn't initialize the PowerFC by accident?

Did you turn off the engine while rebooting?

I had a thread involving a sorta similar situation. I had done some tuning and restarted the car. The car wouldn't connect so I hit "initialize power fc" on the fc edit. This action would take effect on the next startup. I played with the wires and I eventually think the total loss occured because of the "initialize power fc" on fc edit. I stopped hitting the "initialize power fc" button and the losses went away.
