Power FC where to buy apexi 3 bar map sensor
Trending Topics
i just got off the phone with motor dynamics and they have no idea what i was talking about. i gave them the part number and explained it's not a factory mazda part. the guy said to ask you if you know the number they used to get it versus the actual denso part number. i really really need to get this thing. can you help?
Bringing this back from the past, I need a 3-bar and I dont want to buy the overpriced Apexi Map Sensor, so has anyone had luck with getting a Denso 3-Bar listed on the Apexi? And if so, where and how much!!!
Thanks...

GM 3 bar and PnP harness http://www.banzai-racing.com/product...er_harness.htm
Thanks for the link, but I was aware of the unit you had with the harness...
The main reason for wanting the Denso/Apexi unit is that i dont have to tune/set-up/configure the unit...unlike the GM!!!

Of course you have to setup and tune the denso/apexi unit, just like the GM. You really think you can plug it in and crank up the boost? You will be looking for a new engine very shortly if you don't tune.

Sorry, It came out wrong...I meant I dont have to dial in the Power FC to accept reading numbers off the GM unit to match what the OEM unit would show at atmospheric pressure...meaning +0- Or at least thats what i heard...
The PFC does have a preset for the apexi/denso sensor (option 1), which still needs calibrating if you want it to read "0" at your elevation. The scale and offset for the GM 3 bar is not top secret. If you have a datalogit it takes all of two seconds to set up and saves you $100.00. It is after all your car/money and if you feel like spending $200.00+ for a Map sensor, you can.
