i posted this in the Power fc section because i figured people here would see it more often on their commander and know off the top of there heads.

I've been having trouble with the car running really rich, my map sensor is hooked up, but im not sure if the voltage im seeing is correct. With just the key on not running it shows 2.49 volts. I havent checked it with idle because its a bitch to get it started and i havent checked during cranking because i just thought of the map sensor and had little time to check things out.. SO is 2.49 volts too high with the key in the ON position? could this be why its so hard to start and fouls out my plugs? or is this a normal voltage?

 

That is right about where it should be at 0 psi (14.7 psi absolute).

Where in Texas do you live? If in Dallas/Fort Worth area there are a few experienced owners. In Houston, not that many, only one other than me that I know of.

 

I live in brenham tx. Which is like an hr to an hr and a half from houston and about the same to austin.

 

Too far for a quick trip.
