What are some things to look for when buying used

Hey guys, ive seen a few cheap PFCs lately, and was wondering what too look out for when buying one.

Firstly, are there any fake/copies of the apexi PFC? How can i tell if its genuine?

Ive read that there is 2 different PFCs made for the FDrx7, how can i tell which one it is?

Thanks

William

You have to look at the serial number.

One is an earlier series and contains a base map that's not as good as the second iteration for US made Fd's.

Look for serial number's that start with FD3S4.....

If the seller has a Commander with it, they could power it up and take pictures of the screens to verify that it's coming up. Other than that, I have no other idea.

Good luck.

Not that I know of but definitely if someone wired their Datalogit incorrectly with their wideband, you can definitely ruin the driver in the PFC.
