what are safe o2 sensor readings

I am reading around .89 to .91 according to the pfc. What is the lowest I can go safely? I tried a search but you cannot have o2 in the search because it has too few letters.

Question o2

Is there a peak hold on the o2 reading, or do you just have to try to watch while you drive?

i have a red '93 fd

No there isn't a peak hold, so you have to watch it while you drive at WOT... Yeah that was me, I have the only one around here. I have seen a silver one and a montego one but rarely. Next time you are here give me a ring. Would be cool to get together.

I would say no lower than .86 on the stock O2 since that still leaves you some room on the safe side. With the old PFS PMC, reading off the stock sensor, Peter Farrell would recommend no lower than .84, but I stick with .86 just to on the safe side.

thanks Tim...I don't know if you got the email or not, but my new numbers are from adjusting my fuel map nearer yours. I chickened out and pulled out about half of what you have. Usually I see .91 (down from .97) and once .89. I may pull a bit more out, but for now it's ok. Hard to tell, but seat of pants seems to think its an improvement. Yesterday stomped it and spun the tires on a roll from about 35. Doesn't usually happen in my auto.
