What to look for when purchasing a used Power FC

I am purchasing a used power FC from a forum member within the next few days.

What things should I be looking at in the pics to make sure that I am getting what I need for my car to run=)

The seller is FallenCho.

Other than whether it works? Nothing.

Personally, just find a datalogit. The only thing I've ever used the commander for was to look at AITs and experimenting on changing the LEDs on it. The datalogit supersedes the commander by a long shot. Chances are, if you're going the PFC route, save the money and forego the commander.

This is just IMHO. There are some advantages to having it, but I think they're outweighed by the other.

The Commander is the best tool for idle tuning, and for every day monitoring of engine health.
If you periodically monitor you engine when you drive then your chance of having: "Well my engine just detonated without any reason and warning" problem.

A Datalogit is needed for tuning.
I have had both since they came out and consider both necessities unless you are just too poor to afford both.

The Commander is a good tool to monitor knock which can be caused by bad gas or loss of fuel flow.

After all the car is a rotary which requires more concern.

I monitor my commander all the time. I find it useful to check the water temp and exact boost readings, I have the boost control kit added as well. What I like most is the peak hold feature where you can see the peak of everything you just did on a run. I think its worth the extra few bucks. Either that or you will need to add a gauge for each parameter that your FC is already logging.
