Power FC What do you guys think of these numbers?
What do you guys think of these numbers?
Ok so tonight i was getting on it hard 1st - 4th and i saw a peak boost of .71 (10.082psi) on my pfc. thats all good but what is strange is that my inj. duty was at 85.6%! WTF is going on here if the stock fuel system should support close to 1 bar at its max why is my duty cycle way up? The other thing that is odd is that my boost gauge (PFS) reads about 2-3 psi higher than my readings on the pfc. I tested this the other night by holding boost as close to 0 as possible according to the pfc and my gauge read 2.5 psi. Has anyone else had problems like these? I dont know what to trust as being accurate. The boost was reading about 13 psi on the gauge which would explain the high duty cycle, but why would the pfc read so much lower. I'm running the base maps too.
Thanks,
Dane

You are probably running pretty rich. The ECU has no way to know about the "flow" mods you have (or haven't) done to the car, so the fuel maps always represent some assumptions about what the car has on it. The PowerFC is setup with maps for intake, dp, cat-back, and intercooler (I think). It will thus run rich on a car without those items.
