what car is the 3 bar map sensor plug found on??? need asap

ok, i have figured out that i have no time to order the 3 bar map sensor connector and wait for it to be shipped.. the soonest i can have it here is next tuesday.. so, im heading to the wrecking yards tomorrow with my 3 bar map sensor but it would really help if i knew what i was looking for?

it doesnt have to be the car that has the 3 bar, it can be the 1 or 2 bar sensor because they all have the same plug.. i need the plug that connects into it... and i can find anything at a wrecking yard because my dad owns one... its just a matter of knowing what i am looking for..

so does anyone know?? or even a guess?? or leads on to where to start tomrrow???

Thanks!

It's a GM sensor - the 3 bar was from the turbo Trans Am or something like that. I'd just hit up all the GM cars you find.

You can also buy the harness pretty easily online, BTW.

yes, i know that i can buy it online but if you read my post, you will know why i cant! i need it today!

anyway, i found it, its off of a 89 trans am turbo and the older corvettes will also work... the corvette's years 84-96 will also work for a plug....

Thanks!

Go to Autozone and buy a 3-conductor GM WeatherPack connector (you will probably need to buy several packs of stuff -- connector body, pins, seals). I am almost certain it will work. However, you will have to cut some slots into the plastic barrels on the connector. But you have to do that with the one you order from GM, too, so it isn't that big a deal. I do think the connectors from Autozone are hard black plastic that will be harder to cut than the soft green plastic one that you can order from GM, though.

NO NO NO, you got it all wrong silly. These types of plugs are only found on the very rare and elusive geo metro.
