What can I change from the base map to help with emissions

I'm going to attempt to get my FD smogged again, but this time with the PowerFC in the car so I can trim the fuel at idle. They take the car up to 2500 RPMs during the test, but not on a roller/dyno like in Cali.

What tables can I change in the PowerFC to help me lean out my idle? I'm very new to the PFC, but I have a general idea of how to use it. If someone can help me out I'd really appreciate it. I've been searching all day for example maps and emissions trimmed maps but I haven't been able to find what settings people changed to pass.

Thanks again

The manual contains enough of info telling where/how you can change fuel by fuel correction cell or by rpm or by boost.

Like the NIKE adds imply, don't over think it, just try/do it, be adventurous.
That's how many of us learned.

By trying to adjust idle for emmissions, what world are you from?

We experienced PFC owners who have had it since it first came out in 1998, learned the new product by reading and playing with it. Starting with idle, cruise, and finally into boost. There weren't any PFC forums, helpful mentors, and very few of us blew our engines because we approached it with respect, caution, science, and intelligence. This was before the DATALOGIT was out which makes it easier to tune and learn.

If one does not have these qualites, it isn't my fault!

If you want to reduce your fuel injector map cells, that is where I would start (keep the changes in vacuum). You could also just reduce the injector %'s (both front and rear) sets, but that leans out the entire map.

As long as you don't do anything foolish, you shouldn't hurt the motor.
