I've heard of some issues with the Air conditioner after installing the PFC....is this major?

Also, any other negatives things I may notice after installing the PFC?

the a/c will still work, but not on all levels.like one will work, 2 might sometimes, 3 wont 4 will. or something like that, thats how mine was. But there is a way to fix it by running an extra ground to the fan switch. its ben a long time since i did it but im sure its nothing apexi couldnt guide you through.

 

The third fan position may or may not activate the ac compressor, so your car will blow hot air and no ac. There are several remedies for this, search in the pfc forum. I have this issue with my car and simply don't use the ac on 3. Other than that, if installed correctly, the car will "hunt" for idle on startup, AND, the engine light (I think it is the check engine light) will not come on when you start the car. Smog tech. may or may not fail the car for this. There is also a fix on the pfc forum for this.

 

i dont think theres any smog testing in miami. i know im lucky and tampa doesnt check.

 

What might cause the AC not to work on ANY levels? I had the FC installed and now it blows hot air on all levels, but the compressor never kicks on. I have read that it wouldn't work on some levels, but I haven't seen anything about it not working on ANY levels. There is no power going to the compressor. If you go across the relay the compressor comes on. Anyone knows what the problem could be.
