Quick Datalogit Question
I know this thread has been here before but I havent seen it in a while, Is anyone working on or selling datalogit software for Apple/Macintosh operating systems yet ? I would love to have the datalogit but am not willing to buy a PC, I dont like them and would not spend the money on even a real inexpensive one...
Anyone heard anything lately...?

You mean you won't buy someone's old PII/PIII laptop for $100 or less for use in tuning your car? All you need to run the data-logit is a PII and enough hard drive space to do some logging.

Strange- - - That you would rather do a workaround with a Mac than use a PC, when the software was written for PC.
According to the datalogit manual (page 78) there is a procedure for using a Mac laptop with datalogit. The writer of the workaround offered to help anyone who wanted to try it. His name is Michel and he can be reached at rx7tt95@aol.com.
Minimum requirements are 400mhz Powerbook (Lombard or Pismo) 320 mb ram, superdrive, Virtual PC 5.0, OSX (10.1), WIndows 98, USB adapter and FC-Edit software..............Hmmm once again, even if you hate Bill Gates, you will need to make him richer by buying his software.
My advice is the same as Rynberg's above. Bite the buller and get a PII or PIII and start learning the systems.
Hey Rynberg, If you really know someone that has a PII or PIII laptop for $100, please send him/her to me, I really want to replace my P100 with something faster.
BTW an AMD @ 75mhz still logs 5 lines/second with all parameters polled.

I guess I may have to bite the bullet, But I've also considered possibly trying like "virtual PC" or something on my Mac with the datalogit but...
Thanks for the link I might conact him and see what the scoop is...
