What am I doing wrong setting up the PFC?
Ok, so I've followed instructions I was given by the experts who wrote back... at least I think I have.... but I'm still having idle surge problems w/ AC. Here's the deal: Last night I reset the PFC, again, and disconnected the battery to reset just in case. I let her warm up and idle for a bit w/ no load, parking lights, and then AC. Adjusted the idle on the engine too a bit. Worked like a charm! Idled beautifully with AC on! (Except for fan 3 but that's a whole other problem cuz that speed won't even kick on the AC) I'm greatful for those that gave me help with it and thought I had it fixed. But then today it starts actin up again. Damn thing refuses to keep still at an rpm with AC on. Off, idles fine. Kick that AC on and she's all over the place from 1100 down to 500 and back. What did I do wrong?? I THOUGHT I followed instructions but I guess not...

How long did you let it idle with the a/c on during the "learning" phase? I removed my a/c relay to run the fans on high at the track a few weeks ago. This confused the PFC, so once I put the relay in again, I was back to the wild surging crap. It took a few days of driving to get it back to normal. I think it helps to drive with the A/C on at low speeds and then stop the car to let it idle. It should eventually smooth out. Be patient.
The other problem you could be having is that your ISC (Idle Speed Control solenoid) may be bad. Mine went out and behaved similarly.
