Weird problem with my "new" apexi.

Hey guys.

I just bought an used apexi FC power comamnder
But there is this weird problem.
It shows that i have 1.27 in boost before the car is even turned on. (ignition only)
But it works just fine on my friends rx7. Which is with a manual gearbox (mine is automatic) and it show 0.70 in boost and everything is in the best order.

Then we tried his apexi on my car, and THAT worked just fine.
How come there is a difference in those two? it got the same serial numbers (except for the last 4-5 digits of course) and they are both from japan.

Mine is an 1992 FD touring X with automatic gearbox.
And my frinds (the one we tried it on) is a 1992 with a manual gearbox

I really hope someone can tell me why

Also.
My friends apexi, dosen't show the RPM, in the dash (like it turns the needle off) what could cause that problem?

I haven't started the car with my own apexi hooked up. I was scared to flood it
But it started just fine on my frinds, and there the pressure value did change.
And when i start my own car, with my friends apexi, the pressure value also changes.

There is some MAP-sensor related issue for sure.

Sounds like a ground/wire issue. The MAP sensor signal is maxed out, assuming you have the stock map sensor. For example if I unplug the stock map sensor the the PFC screen will read 1.12 kg/cm2. Take a look at the sensor check screen and see if there is anything else maxed out.

Do you have our Auto PFC adapter harness installed? If not you are going to run into shifting issues. http://banzai-racing.com/store/FD_auto_ecu_adapter.html

Map sensor is on the firewall, by the throttle body. Potentially you didn't have your plugs all the way in when you had your PFC installed. Put it back in, make sure all your connectors are seated properly and that you have not pulled any wires out.
