Using AP Output as Window Switch / NOS Control?
I had an idea that it would be great to use the Air Pump relay output on the PFC as an output for NOS control. Typically, an RPM based switch is wired in series with the other safety switches (full throttle, armed, etc). An RPM based switch is helpful, as it prevents the system from being activated too low.
Could one of the PFC programmers be coerced into locating the bits that set the AP control RPM, and making this a dynamic setting? Others could use it for shift light, or other fun RPM triggered devices. The relay is already in the car, making this a really clever one-wire hookup for most users!
Even cooler would be a full window switch with a defineable upper limit as well.
That's ECU Pin 2J, currently VCC at RPM > 3250, 0V at RPM < 0V The hardware is there, just need some coding to control it!
