Unplugging PFC

This is a stupid question I know, but if I unplug the PFC and plug in another ECU will I lose the map and all the settings on the PFC? Also if I plug the PFC back in everything will be like it was before I unplugged it? Thanks

Q1: Power loss will not cause the PFC to loose your mods to it. That would be a very stupid design for a car ECU to have.

Q2: yes, you would have changed the time-space continuum and Captain Picard will be stuck with the BORG.

cewrx7r1 is correct - you won't lose your maps.

On a related note, if possible, you should backup your map. Maybe you'll go to a car meet and find someone you trust to plug into your car with a Datalogit and download and save your map and email you a copy. I know that on my car, my map is one of my most important mods!
