UN Mapped

so i took my car to be tuned and they said the power fc isnt mapped but my friend was running it in his car how do i re map it?

He probably means its running the base map/tune that comes with the PowerFC. It is not a good idea to use this map and you should get your car tuned.

no becuase it wont even allow the car to start

Are you running stock primary injectors? If so, the base map should allow the car to start and run. If you bought the PFC used, it may be tuned and not work for your car. You can reset the PFC to the base map by going to ETC --> reset base map (i think thats what its called), highlight yes and press next. Then key off the car, wait a bit and key it back on. The map should now be the base map, whatever was on the pfc before is lost though. If your car still doesn't start, its probably flooded and/or needs new plugs.

oh yeah i put the 850-850 ib and it stared now im trying to figure out the really rich problem.

my 850-850 combo runs at about 11.0-11.5 AFR at idle...thats the best I could get. something yo are just going to have to deal with
