Tuning in Chicago

Is there anyone in the Chicago area that can tune my car? ASPEC? I am afraid to drive it before I get it tuned (newly installed PFC) and have no idea when Steve Kan will be back in the midwest.

When will newbs ever learn the basics first?
Normal off boost or low boost driving is not dangerous. It might not get the best mileage cruising or in stop and go driving, but you could drive it around the world as long as you do not get on boost.

Sorry, I am a newbie. At least in terms of the PFC. I have been around since the old e-mail list days though ;-)

Anyway, what would you consider to be "low boost driving"? 10-11 PSI? 7-8 PSI?

Well considering that the stock engines ran in the 7-8psi range, low boost is below 5 for me.

Wow! 5 psi huh? Well that's good. I haven't had it out of my subdivision yet because I have yet to reinstate the insurance (I take it down to comprehensive over the winter). 5psi is about as high as I have gone with it. Guess I should turn the boost down from .50 to like .35 then huh. That seems super low, but if that is what you think is low/safe boost at this point then that's where I will set it for the time being.

You do not need 5psi boost to over 100mph with this car.
Get on a long straight and trying keeping boost around 0 psi and see how well it still moves.
