My PFC was used and setup for Intake, IC, full exhaust. I have Intake, DP, Puched out cat, and stock CB. Should this map be ok for my setup? Also, if I do the "initialize" function on the commander, I know this resets the maps, but what does it reset them to? Would the reset map be better for my setup than the one on it? Keep in mind, I have no Datalogit.

 

Who tuned the map? Personally, I would be very wary of any pre-existing map. Unless you really trust the source, I would just reset the PFC and run 10 psi off the base map until you can get it tuned.

A map for a more modded engine than yours should be safe for yours as long as the injector settup is correct.

Why, because it will have more fuel and less timing.

Is the base map still a better map than the stock ECU?

 

Depends if it is a STOCK or MOD base map in the PFC you have. Mine came with the MOD base map. Now after much tuning mine is between both.
