Removed OMP and now car runs like butt.

I've been doing some searching and it says this will cause the ECU to go into to limp mode. Is this true? How can I fix this besided putting the OMP back on?

I have the Power FC.

Thanks!

Wire resistors in there to simulate the load of the OMP so that the computer thinks there is one on there.

Assuming you replaced the oil injectors with solid plugs and the ECU is running in limp mode (not sure if this is part of the PFC programming) ... you can plug in the OMP and leave it underhood, just tuck it, wire it, or tie wrap it someplace safe.

Does the power fc have a limp mode?

I already cut the wires going to the OMP.

I posted on your thread in the 3rd gen section but maybe you havent seen it so I'll post here.

I'm not running the omp, I just cut it out from the harness and blocked off the omp on the front cover. I also screwed in a bolt on top of the engine where the oil injectors are.

I cant imagine what the problem would be unless you didnt use a bolt in the oil injector hole.
