Rats nest with Power FC.
Hey everyone, I know I saw it somewhere but I can't seem to find the thread now. I have installed a powerFC on my single turbo swapped FD. The the rats nest itself has been removed but all the sensors are still plugged into the harness with no vacuum lines going to them.
I was wondering which of these i can unplug from the harness now. And which ones i need to leave. the reason I ask is that my exhaust heat light blinks full time when the rpm's are above 2500rpm. From what I know it;s because a sensor somewhere is either out of spec or not receiving proper signal, I'm assuming it's one of the sensors for my rats nest that isn't plugged into the manifold vacum system.
any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot guys!

I have no commander. And I don't know anyone that has one.

it could also be a noisy knock sensor, but you can't read that without a Commander or Datalogit.

It's going in for a proper tune this week. I'm running with an intentional boost leak to prevent hurting the engine. I just need that light to stop blinking, and I'm pretty sure it's one of the rats nest plugs that are causing it.
according to this: http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/3r...ov_nonseq.html I can just remove all 8 solenoids with the PFC.
The reason the warning system doesn't work on US cars is that they don't have an exhaust overheat light on the dash. Which is what the PFC triggers when there is an issue.

No I'm still running the omp. I didn't want the hassle of premix on my daily driver. I would rather avoid paying the shop to locate the problem and fix it since they charge $120 an hour. I'm just going to yank out all the solenoids and hope that does it, if not, then i guess I'll bite the bullet and have them fix it, unless i can find someone in my area with a PFC commander.
