Power FC random air temp readings on PFC

random air temp readings on PFC

So at random times when I start the car and when I am driving my air temp readings on my PFC are reading 3 things;
1.) a positive number
2.) a negative number
3.) a -----------

Whats going on and how do I fix this?

check the connector under the UIM. wiggle it around and see if the voltage changes on the powerfc.

Check the connector and if the connector is fine then you need to replace the AIT sensor. Since your replacing the sensor, you may as well get a fast reacting AIT sensor which is better then the stock one.

Sound like your IAT sensor is bad. I just recently replaced one for my friend's FD you can find it at the below link i've posted.

Very easy. Can be installed in the same location. The FD felt more responsive after the replacement.
