Question regarding tune for seq and non seq

Right now I have a tune on the PFC from Steve on my seq turbos running 11psi. I want to go with non seq with my twins for now keeping it at 11psi. Does that mean i would have to get a re-tune? Would the PFC not be able to control the boost anymore if i went non seq? I did some searching but i am still coming up with yes's and no's. I talked to the guys at PF Supercars and they said the can get my seq setup working again but i dont want to have any more problems later on down the road with another actuator or solenoid crapping out again. I forgot to ask them about the tune, go figure

I think it depends how you do the conversion. If you just do a 'poor-man's' non-seq. conversion your current tune should be fine. If you go further and remove any restrictions in the intake or exhaust path, then you might increase the flow a bit and you may run a tad lean.

I can't comment on the boost control issues because I don't have any experience with the PFC boost control unit.

"you can potentially run leaner if you do the right non-seq mod. If you leave all the flap doors in place, it shouldn't affect the tune"

^im assuming poor mans mod leaving the flap doors open

A full non-seq will make more high rpm power as previously mentioned and thus would go lean some.

But nobody except me will tell you this!

Since the turbos will spool slower and make lower boost below about 4000rpm, you can add in 2-3 degrees more timing in the area affected by this to help compensate.
