Question....

I recently bought a 93. It has a streetport, exhaust, FMIC, 99 spec twin turbos, a few other things and the power fc.

I've been reading tons of stuff on the forums and about tuning. I just had one question. What are safe numbers for the leading and trailing when I'm looking at the pfc controller while at idle?

there really isn't safe vs non-safe timing at idle. At idle your biggest concern is smoothness and stability (and emissions, but I doubt you care about that).

Many ported engines can idle cleaner and smoother by not using the PFC idle control system which prevents idle timing changes.
Some like mine idle with "negative timing split".
But this might be beyond your current rotary knowledge.

Just let the ecu control idle timing. It remains more consistent in varying weather and load conditions.

Thanks! I ended up taking it to Pettit Racing and had Cam double check a few things until I get the hang of things.
