Profec b and DL
Hi all. i have managed to safely lean out my map from a ported motor to non ported. And the graph is nice n smooth thanks to cewrxs spreadsheet.
What concerns me now is this. my boost gauge which is fine. is hitting 1.5 bar. and thats even with the boost controller set right down. I wonder why my waste gate is not opening. the boost wont level off. its the same when i switch the profec b off. im sure ive connected it all up right. what do yous think?
also when i hit. 1.5 bar it registers as 1.15 on the hand controller but on my map its is only getting into the 19 th row.
do i have to calibrate my standard map sensor

The PFC will read lower boost than the boost gauge due to the conversion error. It is discussed in the notes under Settings 3 and it contains the correct scale/offset for the stock map sensor.
Only one line is needed to run at the WG spring pressure and it is needed no matter which EBC unit you use. It goes from the turbo outlet(I prefer the IC outlet) to the side of the WG. Run only that. If your boost goes high, either the WG spring is to heavy or your WG setup and or dump pipe is too small.

Cheers, mate. im all sorted on that front now. Holding good boost 1.15 bar.
I need now to learn how to install 3 bar map sensor and change the pfc settings to suit.
I want an ignition amp now and a gm 3 bar map sensor going for 1.4 bar
