Problems ...

Installed my PFC today. Bad idle went away after 20 mins. The thing is, whenever I give it a little gas at idle and let off, it bounces from 1200-900rpms. WTF is going on? My mods are as follows:

intake
dp
mp
cb
fuel pump upgrade
fmic
air pump removed

I know that with the mods I have, the base map wont handle excessive boost levels, so I tuned my AVCr to 8# until two weeks from now when I bring the car to KDR for dyno tuning. So what is going on with the idle? Is it because I'm running the base map and the airpump is out? HELP!

Happens about 90% of the time when a PFC is installed. Adjust you idle down, use the idle set screw or air bleed screw. The engine is getting too much air.

it will go away, you can also reset the PFC again, and let it idkle again, then with A/C on. I reset my pFC for various reasons liek 3 times. and a few of the times I had the hunting idle thing. I just did it again, and it was fgine. ALso rememebr it will take liek 1 hour of driving, adn idle, etc to get the idle right, Well that is what my experience is anyway.

One thing I noticed is I lost the brief 3000+ RPM idle at start up.....is that normal?
Ive had it in for about a week now (I dont drive it everyday) And Ive noticed at start up it revs arnd 1800 rpm for a few minutes and descends slowly to about 800rpm (approx 5 min). Once its up to temp it revs arnd 720rpm as long as nothing is on. I havent had to touch my idle yet. Maybe you guys need to be a lil more patient or I just lucked out I guess.

Yeah it's normal. Remember those four wires you cut? One of them was for the AWS = Accelerated Warmup System. I've read that its only purpose is to warm up the cat.
