problem with my apexi power FC

I have also changed my stock ECU to Apexi Power FC, I did not get a commander and at 5000rpm's my car begins to sputters and does not continue to excelarate, I have clipped the four wires for my computer do you have any suggestions where the problems lie. Did you experience this same problem. Changed downpipe and midpipe and it ran fine, then I put in the FC and it is doing this. Please help if you can. Thanks

Get your PFC's tuned, its happening like streetraceseven said because they are tuned too rich at higher rpms...

First get a commander. Would you buy a TV without the remote control??? A PFC without the commander is useless!!!!!!!

I know redr1man does have a commander. I don't know about injector duties though. I suspect if the injector duties are high (90% or greater) they may need an upgraded fuel pump. Wouldn't that make sense?

Would it help if I got A catback exhaust?I figured since I'm running rich maybe I can lean it out by adding more mods?Wishful thinking I guess! But seriously.Wouldnt that really help though?

It'd be safer and easier to get someone to tune it. If you just keep on adding mods without tuning it, your a/f ratios may be different at different rpms, your higher rpms could be fine then, but lower would be too lean, etc, etc..

laurel? i almost bought a yzf-r1 down there a couple years ago. then i realized what a terd they were and bought my gsx-r750. i can't remember where exactly you're at....south of jackson by 20 miles? i don't know if it's...well, it is worth it if you want your car running right, but spyfish007 is in knoxville, tn or you can see stephen(SPOautos) or brian at bnr supercars in birmingham, al. actually, there are a couple guys in tn...garfinkle would be another to contact. see about pm'ing them and set something up for yourself
