In order of most effective

Replace the harness
Check the system for irregularities
Clean the switch contacts
Hard wire it

There are a lot of threads full of hearsay, but I think it comes down to the low variance that apexi set their parameters at that really gets everyone.

Is it just certain settings that it doesn’t work on or just entirely does not work?

Hard wire it. I did mine and it blows ice cold air like stock operation on all settings. The only thing you need to remember is to reach over and turn off your AC (depress button) when going WOT on those Friday and Saturday night hard throttle romps!

Basically, cut them at the ECU and only connect the two on the harness side.

I just remembered that I placed a pressure switch in my A/C clutch line that would open up at 2psi boost and thus automatically turn off the A/C while on boost.
