powerfc lock feature?

Hi guys,

I have another question. I thought the powerfc allows the user to program a code and lock the powerfc so nobody can alter the settings. I just scanned the online manual but didn't find anything. Does anybody know if there is a lockout feature?

thanks,

anthony

No lockout feature on the PFC. Best thing to do is unplug the Commander and take it with you if you leave it at a shop or whatever.

The only lockout feature I've seen is on the PowerXL software(yes I know no one has it), but my question is if the Datalogit allows this feature. Anyone out there know of this?

Yes, the Datalogit does allow lockout of each section of the PFC that is visible w/ the commander, including the following: IGL, IGT, INJ maps, PIM Volts, Injector settings, Boost, Acceleration settings, tuning adjustments, watertemp and Rev/Idle settings. Also if you have the Datalogit, you can save the entire program to your laptop, put them in a special folder like in My Documents. If you are going to send it off to have someone program it, you can save the settings to the laptop before you ship it, then compare that to what they have changed. Well worth the money guys!
