power fc reset?

Hey guys,

My car has been in the body shop for about 4 months now and I should be getting it back this week (crossing my fingers). Since the battery has been disconnected all this time, I was wondering when the battery is reconnected, will the power fc still keep all the settings and tweaked maps?

If nobody answers, that's ok. I guess I'll find out when I pick the car up and see if the 3k rpm rev limit I put on the car is still there.

But it would be nice to see if anybody knew the answer?

A few days after I dropped off the car, the shop calls me and says "there's something wrong with your car...it stumbles and hesitates severely and we have no idea why!"

I was just LAUGHING!!

I know these guys, and I know they would be tempted to take my car out for a spin, so I put a friendly 3k rpm rev limit, courtesy of the power fc. Of course, I took the commander out before I dropped the car off.

Anyways, any answers would be cool.

All settings will stay. However, the "learned" idle may be lost . Just follow the PFC instructions.. let car idle 20 min with all electrical load off... you know the drill

thanks Troy,

I actually forgot about the "learned" idle. I'm so excited about getting the car back, I probably would have let it warm up for 5 mins and then open it up.
