Exclamation Power FC / reliability mods / QUESTIONS!

I am new to this Forum so Hello, I have a few questions Somebody must know. I have a 93' rx7 silver with : Upgraded stock turbo's (ported/ceramic coated...) apex dual n1, light flywheel, dual friction centerforce clutch, full koni suspension, short shifter, 18x10"/18x8.5 rims, hks downpipe.
First off,is the XS adjustments really worth the money? I got a really good rx7 only shop in Santa Barbara but i know they use only the commander to do the programming.
Second, What the Hell is ment by "Realibility mods>????" is the list of mods just known to everyone??? Please help me.
Next I am planning to get the power FC, m2 COLD air intake, radiator, all hoses/pipes, intercooler. If I get a front mount intercooler then the intercooler is in front of the radiator and my rx7 guy has told me tat this will "pre-heat" te radiator and that it is a bad idea. just go upgraded stock mount intercoler and new larger radiator too. So they all have their own dedicated air supply.
Also, any suggestions for what the hell else I should get or do or brands? I have also heard of the 93 to have problems? anyone heard that and what are they?
Also, sorry, I know the rx7 has heat problems, will the M2 COLD air intake/intercooler/radiator fix all these problems? All my buddies have vettes and mustangs and turbo rice mobiles. I need to be able to talk back
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY INPUT!

with an upgraded radiator you shouldn't have any problems running a front mount(I certainly don't), but the question of smic vs. fmic has been argued many times, just do a search and you'll find a lot.

I'm not the most knowledgeable guy about tuning, but i can tell you what i've picked up from reading as to your concern about the xs maps and such. IF the rx-7 only shop can dyno tune your car but only with the commander, the result will be a much better tuned car, than any GUESS that xs makes based on a list of mods. If you have extra cash you might want to get what xs sends you and then make adjustments with your car on the dyno, but nothing can be substituted for actual time on the dyno. If its one or the other go for dyno tuning over XS's guess. Now if the rx-7 only shop is just gonna do some tuning to the PFC without the aid of a dyno, i'd say send it to XS.

Some reliability mods include:
Downpipe and Midpipe or high flow cat
aluminum AST or bypass
silicon or other more heat resistant vacuum hoses
upgraded radiator (these things run hot)
boost gauge
engine temp gauge
(air fuel gauge - not a necessity but still i think would qualify as a reliability mod)
turbo timer- this one is iffy too
ECU- PFC or whatever
fan mod

THere are a lot more, i just can't think right now, i'm sure someone else will construct a better list ofr you

Just my 0.02

BATMAN, yeah but you'll be running rich. I'm running DP, MP, CB, Intake, and FMIC with basically stock maps. Lots of guys are doing the same thing. It's not the way to make max power, but it seems relatively safe.
