Power FC Real Tune

I am wondering if I can get my hands on the software to really tune a PFC. I don't see any reason to buy one if I can not. I am sure you guys get a decent tune with your Commanders but I am looking for a perfect tune. Any one have the software?

"A Perfect Tune" would cost more than most could afford. It would take many hours on a dyno and on the street with a wideband O2 sensor, and the adjustments can still be done with just the commander. You would use up an engine just doing this.

You are dreaming!

The only other non-Apexi software/hardware for other tuning is the datalogit. Even though it allows changes not allowed with the commander, it is not the godsend you are looking for. What it really offers is monitoring of run time engine paramaters.

There is no magic tune, just plain old hard work and time making adjustments and testing. AFRs, knock levels, and EGTs are what you monitor besides RWHP.

You could take your car to XS Eng.

I can tune the car myself and I have access to a dyno I just need the software. I know XS has the software, but they also will not give it up. I am not about to tune a car with hand held commander. What is this data logit? I have never heard of it.

If you do a "datalogit" search of this forum, you will find many threads on it!

datalogit => logs your data...about your engine...from the PFC (Power FC engine computer)
No offence, but you are planning on doing a 'perfect tune', using the PFC with their special software, and you don't know what the datalogit is?

Never used piggy back stuff. Only Haltec and stand alone. I have used data loggers and many other tuning items but I really do not like to make a pass and then tune my car. I would rather tune as I go with a motec meter.
