Power FC pressure sensor

Hi, i wanted to buy used power FC in japan, it comes with commander ofcourse but the auction description says it lacks pressure sensor. what is this sensor and is it possible to replace it? if yes, than how much will it cost and where can i get one?

The power fc doesn't come with any other sensors unless you are talking about the Apexi 3 bar map sensor which you have to buy seperately. Just make sure that is the proper ecu for the year of your car otherwise it won't work. There are 2 different power fc ecu's for the fd.

my car is OBD I so i need one for pre 96 models. can you tell from pictures what type of computer is this? OBDI or OBDII? also, if i dont buy 3 bar sensor will i still be able to use this device? because i dont want to run over 13psi anyway. here is the pic:

You don't need to run a 3 bar map sensor if you are keeping your boost below 16.5psi. Anything above that you will need a 3 bar map sensor. You can run the Apexi one (really hard to find) or the GM 3 bar map sensor (which is cheap and easy to find). I can't really tell from the pic whether its the right one. It looks like its been bashed around. Ask the seller what year of car this came out of.

That's a later model FD PFC. The plugs don't match the 93-95 harness.

Depending on your mods you can do it through the comander itself. It will take you very long to do it. The best way is to use the dataloggit. If you have access to one it would be the fastest way to down load a new map.
