Power FC Idle AFR's

Hello All,
I have a power Fc with 850 / 1600 injectors. It does not matter what I do, during idle and low load throttle my AFR's are in the 11.0 to 11.3 range. I am fine under a bit more load and WOT, but cannot seem to get this low fuel requirement area cleaned up. I have made drastic changes to the base map in these cells with no real noticiable change to the AFR's. All I have done with that is create a tip in issue.
I would like to know if anyone on here has experience in that area and could give me some pointers.

Thanks

Have to have a datalogit to fix the problem. Need to adjust the injector lag time.

Hi FD-Dave,

I am experiencing this issue with my 850x850 setup (850's in the primary rail). I have injectors settings 64.5% and using -0.8 for injector lag! Messing with lag will help you lean out those injectors at idle (and everywhere else), however I still get extremely rich AFR's in the P1-P4 rows, especially at low revs. This is mostly _very_ partial throttle situations. I too am having a lot of difficulty leaning these cells out and from what I have learned, it may be a lot to do with the injector spray pattern for the 850's. The fuel atomizes fine when you have a lot of air moving through the engine at higher rpms, but not at low revs / high vac.

I still have some playing around to do so I'll let you know what I come up with. Hopefully others with experience will chime in.

I do have the datalogit etc, my injector settings are as follows:

Primary are 68% with a lag of 0.04
Secondary is 0.14 for the lag setting...

I will reduce the lag and see where it takes me.

Thanks...

Low or negative lag is the main way to fix this problem which a search on "850" would have given you many threads about.
