Power FC causing exhaust to smoke at idle!?

I have the power FC and a dp,mp and dual n1, intake and pullies.
I've had a problem with the exhaust blowing bluish black smoke which obviously smells like oil. And a blip of the throttle stops it.
It only happens at idle and its not all the time.
I'm also NOT losing any oil.
I did the usual trouble shooting: pcv valve, etc
The only reason i think its the power fc is because i hooked it upt to a friends car today and his car started doing the same and its never done that before.
Is the PFC causing my omp to inject too much?
Confused as hell..
and better not be the damn power FC cause judging by apex's customer service, it'll be a year before jason can exchange mine for a new one if they even do it!

Is there anything i need to change on the base maps?
I've reset it a few times just to see if it helped, but to no avail.
Any suggestions?
TIA

PFC causing the exhaust to smoke? Yeah, I remember reading a Surgeon's General Warning label on my PFC once. Put a nico-patch on your car then. :p

I had the same problem once when I had installed different size injectors in my Power FC, the problem wasn't the PFC, it was actually the injectors were leaking and causing excessive some to come out, I'm not saying that this is your problem, but you should check your primary injectors for leakage.

BTW, I do mean leakage from the pintle of the injector into the intake chamber of the motor, not a external leak

How many miles do you have on your turbos? If it's a high number, there's a good chance that they're blowing oil into your intake, and need to be replaced. The same thing is happening to me right now, and it's definitely the turbos. That's why I'm going single next week!

Yeah..i thought it may be my turbo's too.
My car has 65K miles or so , so not too much.
But the thing that made me rethink the turbo issue is when i plugged it into another guys car and his smoked too, which it never did with his factory ecu.

Chaotica, thanks for the tip..i'll look into it.

it could be your pcv at idle /high vacum it allows crankcase to vent right in front of your primary turbo(one of the two lines on the plastic elbow)

I actually tried swapping PCV valves with another friends car and it didnt solve the problem.
What about the fact that i have a greddy elbow and it doesnt have a nipple for the cold start hose like the factory elbow does?
Ah...
so many things to consider
haha
but i have a feeling it just might be related to this god forsaken computer
