Power FC arrived today, Newb needs help!
I just got my PowerFC from rx7store.net today.
I have read (yes, and searched) but I have found conflicting info for the installation.
Do wires need to be cut for install or is it simply plug and play?
Some people say some EGR switch and EGR valve wires need to be cut, and some don't.. but I'm not sure.
SO...
Do any wires need to be cut for installing the PowerFC in a '93 FD??
As always, any input is greatly appreciated.

From this I would assume that the 4 wires DO need to be cut.

Right, I read that. I have a non-jdm left hand drive fd though.
It says:

I would prefer not to cut up my Fd!

If you read the next paragraph it will tell you some options so you do not need to actually cut the wires, But here it is, anyway taken straight from Dale Clarks PFC FAQ.....
There are different methods for accomplishing this. You can either simply cut the 4
wires on the stock wiring harness and tape the ends up, cut the wires and splice an
electrical connector onto the loose ends so they can be quickly re-attached, pull the pins
out of the wiring harness' connector, or break the pins off on the PowerFC itself.
Personally, I'm not a fan of breaking the pins off - it's too easy to harm something else or
break the wrong pin off. Whatever method you choose, make sure to insulate the bare
electrical connection so it doesn't short out against something else.
The reason why I wrote JDM cars do not require the removal of the wires is so you know why some people may say the wires do not need to be cut.

Ok so I just unbolted the stock ECU....
does anyone have any tricks for taking off the 4 connectors???
I'm 6'4", so getting in there isn't very easy!
I'm being gentle with them, but is there a trick???
