Power FC and Air Intake sensor question

Did a little bit of research and didn't get the answer i was looking for.... With the Power FC do you need to have this sensor hooked up? Just looking to clear up some questions i have been asking myself.

But the stock Air Temp vs INJ table is not good for power tuned engines.
It is based on running vey rich is summer and leans out for winter. Remember the stock radiator and IC are dangerously undersized!

If you run leaner than Mazdas over rich fuel due to upgraded RAD and IC, you will lean out in cold weather.

Go research air density due to temp changes and compare to the table!
