I'm planning on buying a Apexi Power FC for my 95 RX-7. My car was made in DECEMBER of 95, so I want to make sure I'm getting the right version. For the FD, Apexi has models with #414AZ004 and #414AZ005. I called the RX7store to clarify this and they told me that it does not matter which year because the one they have (414AZ004) works on all model year. That seem to be conflicting with the information in the FAQ regarding the power FC. Would someone who knows for sure please help me out. Thanks!!!

 

Ive also heard you cant use an auto for a standard PFC and that the ones after oct 2005 are better due to a fix in the 6500 rpm range. any info on these issues?

 

The 414AZ004 works on all US cars....the 005 is designed for the 16-bit ecu 96+ JDM cars only, which is why the rx7store doesn't carry it.

I have heard of no change to the PFC base map.
