Question PFC and wiring harness?

I just got my new motor back and I am planning to start my installation sometime soon. I have removed alot of parts from my engine like, ABS, AC, PS, EGR, ACV, Rat's nest, etc... and I have alot of extra clips from the wiring harness that I will not need anymore. What can I do with them besides let them just lay there? Can I cut them, can I open the harness up and completely remove the wires completely, etc...? I don't want them in the engine bay anymore but I want to start my install but I need this answered first. Will the PFC start throwing codes if these sensors are not all plugged in or missing entirely? I have the resistors for the new injectors but I am just curious about the rest. Any help would be great. I am going single right now as well in case that matters. So anything that is not needed for the new turbo will also be going.

Thanks,
Scott

The connectors are not needed, the PFC will function without them. I simply taped mine up and kept them, no resistors needed for PFC unlike the Pettit and M2 upgraded stock ECUs which required the use of resistors to keep them happy. You can cut them off or pull the wires as far back as the ecu. Just be careful not to short any of the wires.

I have the wiring harness out of the car right now, so you are saying that I can cut the clips off that I do not need and simply tape the wires up so they don't short against any other contacts? Do they have a steady current in the wires while unplugged or only when they are plugged in? If I don't have to open the harness up then I won't, I just want the mess gone. I don't care about the harness anyways, it's old and dry so if I ever need any more clips I'll just buy a new one for $1000.

I just want to verify this with you or anyone else that I can "cut" the clips off that I do not need. ABS, AC, PS, Rat's nest, all the little BOP parts (EGR, ACV, etc..)

Thanks,
Scott
