Power FC With PFC, will check engine light come on???

With PFC, will check engine light come on???

With out the stock ecu (being that I have the PFC) can you pull check engine codes to try to see whats going on with the car???I have the stock ecu in my room if it matters.

No, you can't. But you can check on the condition of various sensors using the Commander.

A very helpful tool for PFC owners. I have had 3 sensors go out on me and it helped me locate all of them.

Consider the sensor check screen to be a check engine light on steroids . It shows the status of all sensors. The CE light is totally disabled when you plug the PFC in.

Most anything that would trigger a CE light normally that would be a problem with the PFC would be major enough that you could tell the car wasn't running right. Then, hit up the sensor check screen.
