PFC tuned by XS...now a slight hesitation on initial throttle...

I just got my PFC back from XS for my mods and I noticed a slight hesitation on initial throttle even with no load. Any ideas on how to fix this??? Otherwise the car runs great.

thanks

Go to page 29 of the manual, acceleration enrichment correction. Read it. Then with your commander, reduce the 1000 rpm 2.0 millisec decay time to 1.5. If that does not help, reduce it another .5. Keep doing this redduction until you solve your problem or the value is at its minimum of .1. If at .1 and the problem still exists, then you will have to start increasing the left enrichment value is a likewise manner.

I had the same type of problem and going to 1.0 solved it.

Studying your manual is a "GOOD" thing.

I don't mind giving you any info that my commander can tell me, but I think my base maps have been changed and that won't show up anywhere on my display. I dont want your motor to go boom!! $$$$ Let me know what numbers you want to compare and I'll post them for you.

later

Okay, I lowered my time value in increments to .5ms with no results. I have returned it back to 2.0ms since then. Now for the enrichment value ...do you have to increase or decrease this value ? This is for 1000rpm acceleration enrichment correction values. The present setting is 1000rpm ---- 6.0ms enrichment value & 2.0ms time value. Do you guys have any different numbers here??? XS said enrichment value is the amount of additional fuel and time value is the duration. Comments please...

thanks

From the Dec. 200 issue of "TURBO" magazine, abbreviated.

ACCELERATION: this section allows changes by RPM to acceleration enrichment settings. There are two columns in this section. The left one represents an additional amount of injector pulsewidth and the right one is the amount of time in which the additional pulsewidth will progressively end.
