pfc - techedge 2.0 wideband logging setup

I read some posts and think i have it right but want to make sure so that i get the proper afr readings.

this is how i have it setup:

Connections
- WBLin (0-5volts out) from tech edge into an1 on pfc
- GRND from tech edge to an2 on pfc

Software
- kept 'Delta an1-an2' checked for floating ground correction (? - i dunno much about this)

- set 0volts = 9 afr, and 5 volts = 19afr
- set polynomial to a=0, b=1, c=0

the polynomial i wast sure of, it had goofy numbers in it when i opened it, i was going to set them all to 0 , but then looked at the other polys and they seemed to default to 0,1,0...so that is what i set it to, should i change it to 0,0,0?

thanks for any clarification on my setup....

The polynomial self sets based on the volt inputs for 0 and 5 volts. If you did the math you would see that the poly defines the same slope as if you physically put in 0volts=9 AFR and 5 volts= 19 AFR.

You actually need no poly when using the linear output from the TEWB but the datalogit software makes a calculation of it for you. If you actually figured the poly it would be A=0, B=2, C=9----just what the datalogit says.

heheh, i knew all that jeff, thanks though :-)

my question was did I zero out the poly properly, should the b=1 or 0?

in other words when you say 'no poly' is that 0,0,0, or 0,1,0?
