Smile Highest rwhp with pfc

Does anyone know roughly what the highest rwhp that has been achieved with a power fc equipped fd3 third gen? Because a tuner from over here (uk) doesn't think they are capable of more than 350 rwhp. Thanks Roy

pffft...I wouldn't say he's much of a tuner then, considering I know quite a few just in Alabama who make more then that. I've seen over 400 on twins. I'm sure there are some with over 500 on a single.

They are definitely capable of running over 350, there are people that have doubled that number.
The limitation would only have to do with how many injectors it can drive.
There are a couple people experimenting with running 2 1600s off one driver, so theoretically you could be driving 8 1680cc or a total of 13440cc.
But yes 350 is safe and well beyond.

i made 409@.64bar@6400rpm with crappy 91oct on a ported motor. so when i'm pushing 1.2bar (in 2 weeks) i'm sure i'll be over 500 as well.

Ok, so what are all these rumors stating that the PFC limits HP? Not true?

You can do it with the PFC, but you need to adjust the cells.

I think he was asking if the PFC limits HP right out of the box, or if there is a limit to how high you can go. Like it only let you tune to 345hp and that's it. But we all know that's not the true. There would barely be a reason to get it if it were. Jason's car alone is proof that the PFC can take you as far as you want to go on the street, and track.

i doubt you could ever be limited on hp output with a pfc. it's all about how good the tuner and/or setup is. it's been in a lot of cars well over 500whp and is obviously capable of more

The AEM is an awesome system, but it's complexity literally gives you enough rope to hang yourself with. I guess that can be said about any system, but I think the AEM has one of the steepest learning curves out there.

Hey jason how much boost are you running for 506hp.
I did 586RWHP at 24psi with slipping on the dyno, and am now running 32psi with T72. So I expect 600 Plus
with 32psi. New turbo coming GT76S, will see what higher boost does. I designed a way to run 4X1600cc secondary injectors with the PFC, so in a month I let you
know how it works. Ralph

Whats up Ralph? Those are some great numbers.
I did that at 19 PSI on an upgraded T-78. Let me know what you did to run all 1600cc. I have 1600's and 1000's at it runs good but takes a while to start the car.

Re: Highest rwhp with pfc

Twin turbos or Singe Turbo? Stock ported motor? Street ported motor? Race ported motor? There's a lot that goes into making big rwhp, and the Power FC is just one ingredient in that mix?
