PFC Tech questions

Ok guys, I read the manual and the FAQ in the forum however I still need some help with the following

1. Is the 4 wire disconnection at installation of the PFC a requisite on JDM vehicles also. ( if so how do I identify them)

2. Any real danger to restting the factory Rev limit to say 8500 ( given boost is held to a limit and appropriate fuel added)

3. The Bost Setting has 2 stages...please explain....also will a MBC work in conjunction with the PFC. I hope to raise the boost to 13psi

4. Exactly what are you adjusting or sensing when using the Pressure Sensor Voltage in conjunction with Fuel Correction.

Do not know but it would not hurt.

2. Any real danger to restting the factory Rev limit to say 8500 ( given boost is held to a limit and appropriate fuel added).

NO!

Are you refering to boost for pre-control and boost after pre-control or the two seperate boost you can run by selecting set 1 or set 2?

If you run a MBC, then you will be defeating the PFC control over boost, unless you try for some combo of PFC & MBC which who knows?

4. Exactly what are you adjusting or sensing when using the Pressure Sensor Voltage in conjunction with Fuel Correction.

As the MANUAL EXPLAINS the PIM Voltage is fuel adjustment by the output voltage of the Map Sensor. 4 volts through 4.5 volts covers 10psi to above 18psi.

I was of the opinion that a MBC was needed in conjuction with the PFC to help eliminate boost spikes. Am I mistaken?

Did you notice that the boost setting has a primary and secondary settting.
Think pre-control (#1 turbo) and full boost (both turbos).
