PFC on stock FD, impressions and a ? kinda long, sorry

First, my car is all stock except for a K&N stock airbox filter, nothing else. It runs great, only has 26k miles on it now.

Got the PFC w/ Commander and installed it this past weekend. First, how come they don't come with brackets that will allow you to have the Commander plugged in while the PFC is installed? I had to drill out a hole in the stock brackets to make a spot for the Commander plug. Not a big deal, but oh well... it would have been nice... The installation went pretty smooth and straightfoward, no problems at all.

Reset the PFC back to stock map, since it was used. Reset the idle screw, did the idle learning procedure, and monitored the coolant temps. During the idle learning, the water temps got up there at around 105 - 106 C. It topped out there, so I let it do it's thing.

Then the test drive. The water temps came back down, no problem, but remember it's probably still 105 F outside still, so I took it out on the freeway and OMG, the car woke up nicely!!! The car is MUCH more responsive, MUCH smoother acceleration and deceleration. Now it's even harder to stay out of the boost!!! The 3k RPM hesitation is gone completely. I can monitor things I couldn't before. The car is ready for more mods. It's a win/win purchase.

So, I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to everyone.

Now, the question. I've noticed that in first gear only, at around 5500 RPM under medium throttle, the car stumbles, and when it recovers, it has less power and doesn't pull as hard as it was before the stumble. It only does this in 1st gear, every other gear is smooth all the way through the RPM range.
The car has new plugs, new RB wires, new fuel filter, and now the PFC.
I'm leaning toward dirty injectors. Can I diagnose dirty injectors with the Commander? I run fuel injector cleaner through it about once a month or every other month, but I haven't had it done at a shop yet.

I also have an RB dual tip cat back, down pipe, and "Cheap Bastards" air intake kit to go on the car, but who has the time??? that's later after I get the DP coated, and then all three will go on at the same time.

Any way, if any one can help with this little acceleration problem, I would appreciate it.

What happens to vacuum/boost when you do this?

Well, just before it happens, I'm pretty sure I'm seeing .7, .8, or .9 something...

When it stumbles, of course the boost goes down and picks back up again when the power comes back...

I just looked at my Boost Settings on the PFC and it looks like this:

1. Pri .8 56%
Sc .7 64%

2. Pri .9 62%
Sc .8 70%

Is that right for the stock map? I've reset the PFC so it should be running the stock map. Maybe I'm hitting the fuel cut cause my boost is more than it should be? The PFC was used and on a 450hp car before mine, but maybe the boost settings didn't reset to base mappings?

any thoughts?

Your type of boost problem is normaly caused by a problem in one of the control systems for seq turbo operation.

You have to check out the pre-control, vacuum, and pressure systems.
