A while ago I posted that I had a small problem with my Commander getting stuck on APEX-i first page of start up. well it's still the same, no luck on getting someone to swap commaners and do a real test to see if the commander is bad or the PFC itself...

However, last night as I was driving home driving little more agressively than erlier, shifting at around 6 - 6.5k rpm max, maybe a minute after I got this huge either fuel cut or ignition cut that lasted about 2-3 seconds long, as if I turned the car off with key sort of speak feeling, and it came back to life .

In the range of 30-50 second time, the car did that 3 times on 3rd gear and around 5-6k rpm...

Now I don't know if that was caoused by something else malfuncioning or there's something wrong with my PFC.

PFC and comm. where purchased used from a forum member here and was almoast brand new, worked fine for about 2 months till I got this commander problem a while ago.

Tune up was done less than 5K miles ago with dealer wires and plugs etc., if that helps...

If the commander is going or is bad it might mess up the PFC.

Your first action should have been to drive the car without the commander connected. Binary elimination of suspected bad parts.

 

Good idea, I'm gonna unplug the comm. and runn the car without it for a while to see if still happens the same thing.

Does it sound like a fuel cut though? I never hit fuel cut so I wouldn't know the feeling.
