PFC reporting error issue..

i don't know if anyone has any experience of this, and i tried a few searches in the search engine and had no matches...

but here is the problem.

On the commander, only when i WOT does the unit return an error. Also, whenever i tried WOT from idle, it stumbles then revs. it'll hesitate for a few seconds then it'll rev up... but only in WOT. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

This is the only error i'm getting from the PFC unit...

Yep, definitely need more info. My first guess is a TPS out of adjustment...

actually i bought a WHOLE new TPS unit from mazda, and replaced it. Every other monitor is fine, like the knock sensor, wat temp, etc. It's the one page (sorry new to this) where it shows all the voltages. So i had it tested by putting it on the ignition position and just start playin' with the throttle. everything is fine up until WOT, where i get a block on there.... I tried doing a search on these forums but i got 0 results? maybe you guys have any experience with this?

Except for the fuel stumble, I do not understand the WOT error. Please be specific.

Many things could be causing the stumble. All the way from bad ACCELERATION MAP to inproperly setup injectors. The only GOOD way for us to check that would be for you to use a DATALOGOT to dowdload the DAT file for us.

Otherwise you would have to copy every map from the PFC for us to look at.
This type of problem I would expect with a used PFC, not a new one.

What is the status of your PFC? If new did you cut the PINS correctly?

Still sounds to me like your TPS is out of adjustment. There are setting screws on it so that you can set what the minimum and maximum voltages are. It sounds like your WOT adjustment is wrong, and the PFC is alerting you of this. I think the WOT voltage is supposed to be 4.96V or 4.98V, but I can't remember exactly. It's in the service manual, which you can find by searching. You can use the PFC's sensor page to help you adjust it, as opposed to using a voltmeter. Whichever is easier for you...

i had x/s install the PFC, and according to them, they did not tune the car for anything. under WOT, i think it does hit 4.96 or 4.98 but there's also a block on it...

Hmmm, that sounds right from memory. Like I say, you should check the FSM for the exact specs. But if the PFC puts a black block on it, it thinks the sensor isn't reading correctly for whatever reason.
